Parents as partners

Recruit and hire WashU students

The Center for Career Engagement supports students in every stage of their career search. Alumni, families and friends can partner with the center by creating or promoting internships, co-ops or full-time positions for WashU students within their own organizations and businesses. If your company is interested in recruiting or hiring our talented students, job and/or internship opportunities can be posted in Handshake, which is the career management and recruiting platform for WashU. Center for Career Engagement staff members are available to partner with your human resources or talent acquisition team to help create a customized recruiting plan.

Connect with WashU networks

There are WashU networks across the U.S. and around the world. Find a network to connect with alumni, parents and friends who share a love for the university—as well as interests, professions, cultures, and ZIP codes.

Volunteer for the Alumni and Parents Admission Program (APAP)

Composed of WashU alumni and parents, Alumni and Parent Admission Program (APAP) volunteers assist with the undergraduate admissions process by helping the university recruit, enroll, and welcome talented students. Through APAP, alumni and parents meet and connect with one another in cities all over the world.
