The Career Expo brings hundreds of employers to WashU to meet directly with our students because employers want to hire WashU students and graduates; they stand out in the job market.

The Center for Career Engagement launched its career communities program three years ago, organizing communities around fields like art, design and media; health care and sciences; and technology, data and engineering.

Through mentorship, internships, and hands-on guidance, students like Mason Shaver and Asia Brantley turned uncertainty into opportunity with help through the Center for Career Engagement.

Construction is underway on a new home for the Center for Career Engagement and an alumni welcome center. The building will serve as the front door to welcome Washington University in St. Louis alumni when they return to the Danforth Campus, and as a hub for students, alumni and employers to interact in various ways, including on-campus interviews, networking and recruiting events.
