I teach Dark Room Cycle.
How has being a BearFIT instructor impacted your student experience?
I absolutely love teaching cycling. I’ve become a confident leader and feel like I can really make a difference at WashU. I have even made a close friend; we’ve trained together and become friends by learning teaching techniques from each other.

Do you think being a BearFIT instructor has impacted your leadership skills?
I’ve become so much comfortable public speaking after leading darkroom spin classes. The nerves I get from leading have lessened over the weeks. My ability to clearly articulate myself aloud has improved.
How do you foster community in your own class?
I love the BearFIT community, I love talking before and after with the regulars.
What else are you up to around campus?
I’m part of Uncle Joe’s and the Jewish community where I engage in many communal events.
