The Division of Student Affairs is making well-being a weekly habit.

Every Wednesday, students can gather on Mudd Field for Well-being Wednesdays, a series of programs designed to center the eight dimensions of well-being and provide practical tools for student success.

The events include a farmer’s market, workshops, wellness-focused activities, healthy vendors, swag and giveaways, and a contest for students to win amazing prizes.

“Well-being Wednesdays are about giving students permission to pause, recharge and remember that their health—mind, body, and spirit—is the foundation of everything else they do,” said Dr. Anna Gonzalez, vice chancellor for Student Affairs.

Each week, Student Affairs will partner with departments across campus to highlight a wellness topic and give students space to reflect and reset.

“We want well-being to feel doable, not one more thing on your to-do list,” Gonzalez. added. “Through Well-being Wednesday, students can build habits that last a lifetime.”

With snacks, supportive programming, and a welcoming community, Well-Being Wednesdays are quickly becoming a midweek ritual.

Healthy Excellence is one of the Division of Student Affairs’ five anchors that deliver a transformative student experience. Student Affairs aspires to distinguish WashU as a place where students graduate even healthier than when they arrive.
